What can I do for free?
Create an account to build, save and preview your CV. All 40 templates and appearance options are available in the editor. PDF and PNG downloads require Pro.
How many templates are available?
MyCVPDF has 40 CV templates. You can switch between them without re-entering your details.
Can I save my details for future CVs?
Yes. Your saved details include your usual CV sections, profile image and appearance. Each new CV starts with a separate copy, so edits to one CV do not rewrite another.
Can I reuse an existing CV for future CVs?
Yes. Choose “Use for future CVs” on a CV in your workspace. This copies the details from an existing CV; it does not import a PDF.
Can I upload a PDF to import another CV?
No. You cannot upload a PDF to fill in your CV automatically. Enter your details or reuse information from a CV you have already created.
Do I have to use a background drawing?
No. All 79 illustrations are optional. Choose from profession and character styles, adjust colour, size, placement and opacity, or select None.
Can I change the colours and profile picture?
Yes. The appearance editor supports preset and custom colours, and a profile photo is optional. Save your chosen appearance to your CV or reuse it for future CVs.
Do I lose my CV when I change templates?
No. Templates change the presentation of the same saved CV details. You can switch between layouts without re-entering your information.
What does Pro add?
Pro lets you export your CV as a PDF, or as a PDF and lossless PNG. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual include the same features and differ only in price and billing interval.
Can I edit my CV after exporting?
Yes. Your working CV stays editable. Earlier saved CV versions are not changed by later edits; PDF and PNG delivery files are temporary and can be regenerated with Pro.
Can I export an older saved CV version?
Yes, with an active Pro membership. Your saved CV version can be regenerated as PDF or PDF + PNG. Generated delivery files are temporary and expire after one hour.
Is there a watermark on Pro exports?
No. PDF and PNG files downloaded with Pro do not carry a MyCVPDF watermark.
Are my CVs public?
No. Your CVs, saved details, profile images and exports are private and accessible only through your account.
Does MyCVPDF store my full payment-card details?
No. Payments are handled by the payment service shown at checkout. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes.
