Terms of Service
The terms for using MyCVPDF, managing your subscription and downloading your CVs.
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. The service
MyCVPDF lets registered users create, edit, save and preview CVs using the available templates and optional artwork. The Free plan includes CV editing and previews, but not PDF or PNG downloads. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual include PDF and PNG downloads while the relevant subscription is active. Both Pro plans provide the same product features and differ in billing interval and price.
2. Accounts and permitted use
You are responsible for the information you submit, your account credentials and activity under your account. Keep login details secure, use the service lawfully, and do not attempt to access other users' accounts or private files, circumvent membership limits, or interfere with security protections. We may take proportionate steps to restrict access when necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or comply with law.
3. Your CVs and templates
You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you enter and must have the right to use any information or images you upload. Your working CV stays editable; creating an export saves a separate version that does not change when you edit your CV later. Details you choose to reuse are copied into each new CV without changing your existing CVs.
You retain your rights in your own CV content. MyCVPDF and its licensors retain rights in the website, software, template designs and bundled artwork. You may use exported CVs for your personal and professional purposes; this does not transfer ownership of the underlying service or template library. We do not guarantee job interviews, employment or any particular outcome.
4. Prices and recurring subscriptions
Current plan prices, billing periods, taxes where applicable, and the amount due are shown before you place an order. Free access has no subscription charge. A paid plan renews at the billing interval presented at checkout until cancelled. Payment is handled by the provider shown during checkout, currently PayPal. Keep your payment method and contact details up to date; failed payment may affect Pro access.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can request cancellation of a recurring plan through the available account or payment-provider controls. Cancellation stops future renewals; the access and end date applicable to your subscription should be confirmed in your membership or payment account. Cancelling a subscription does not itself delete your CVs or account.
Any statutory cancellation, refund, digital-content or consumer rights you have remain in force. Where a legal cancellation right can be lost by starting an immediate digital download, this requires the express agreement and acknowledgement required by law; merely viewing these terms does not waive that right. For a billing issue or refund request, use the operator contact details below.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but maintenance, security incidents or third-party outages may affect access. We may improve templates, features and these terms. Material changes affecting existing users will be communicated where law requires, and changes will not override your mandatory consumer rights. If the service is interrupted or a PDF download fails, contact us so we can investigate.
7. Responsibility and consumer rights
Use the preview to check layout and CV content before creating an export. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your statutory rights as a consumer. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account, CV and billing information.
Read the Privacy Policy for more information about personal data.
